Design

The design is always at the beginning of a new shoe's development. Many impressions from the environment serve as a source of inspiration, then being absorbed and processed. "Less is more", or expressed in other words, "purism" is the aim for our Vitallo shoes in this case.You will not find anything about Vitallo shoes that seems to be fancy, pointless or false. All elements of design fullfil their purpose. Generally speaking, the design of our shoes is strongly coined by aerodynamics. The clear aerodynamic line could equally well have its origin in an aircraft construction sketch of the 1940s. From the scientific point of view, this previously described process can be called creation.We call it Speed or Spirit in our language.

Handmade in Bavaria

We would like to work and create new jobs in the place where we live. That is why one basic pillar of our philosophy is that Vitallo shoes are exclusively produced in Germany, in our shoe manufactory. We, however, take it one step further. Even when selecting our raw materials, this is what is our only enddeavour. So the leather we use comes from cattle in the south of Germany, just to give one of many examples.

Quality = Craftsmanship

Quality is a word with many meanings and many different approaches of interpretation. In our case, this word can be equated with perfect craftsmanship. In contrast to industrially produced shoes, lots of details will show the perfect craftsmanship of our Vitallo shoes. So, for xample, the intermediate layer of the sole is sewn to the upper leather shaft stich by stitch. The elasticity of the natural material leather is used as a technical function. So the tongue will stretch, for example, to make it easier for you to put on your shoes. In an automated production, all these small details are often not to be put into reality.
